This piece is a poetic tribute to the musicality of the living.

The symphony of our gardens has something to tell us.

It is up to us to listen carefully.

 

This manifesto is signed by the Blackcap, the Blackbird, the Nightingale, the Barn Swallow, the House Sparrow,

Blue Tits and Coal Tits.

 

Inspired by their songs, each note is engraved and stamped by hand,

in a composition that is each time unique and original.

 

As our sonic environment becomes poorer, let us nurture a relationship of wonder and friendship with our non-human co-inhabitants, rather than dissociating ourselves from them.
